NABET-CWA / NBCU  NEGOTIATIONS
BULLETIN #10
March 20, 2019

NABET-CWA has tabulated the votes for the NBCUniversal Master Agreement ratification balloting. Eligible NABET-CWA members employed at NBCU have ratified this contract offer by an overwhelming majority.  Ratification ballots were processed and votes were tallied by election committees in New York, Washington DC, Chicago and Los Angeles.

The Union's Bargaining Committee expresses their gratitude to the NABET-CWA members working across the country at NBCUniversal, for their support and determination during this process.

The previous Master Agreement at NBC Universal expired on March 31, 2018.  The newly ratified agreement covers broadcast engineers and technicians, newswriters, building, air conditioning and plant maintenance personnel, staging services personnel, as well as couriers at various Company Network and TV station operations in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington D.C.

Most terms and conditions of the new agreement will go into effect immediately, unless otherwise stated in any individual proposal contained in the February 14, 2019 tentative agreement.  Some economic provisions, such as wages increases will go into effect beginning the next full payroll period following April 1, 2019.

Further information about the new terms and conditions of the Master Agreement can be found on Local websites.
